Fr. Néstor Andrés Almada from San José del Sur was born in Córdoba, Argentina on June 30, 1937. He died at 85 years of age at 8:30 in the evening of July 25, 2022, in Clínica Pilares – Rosario, Argentina due to a cardiorespiratory arrest. He made his first profession on February 11, 1956, and was ordained to the priesthood on July 11, 1968. As we give thanks to the Lord for the gift of his person, his life, his Claretian vocation, and service, we ask him to welcome our friend and brother in his father’s house and place him on the table of the banquet of the Kingdom. May he rest in peace.
Fr. Néstor Andrés Almada, CMF
When a missionary dies, we should celebrate the last rites with devotion, fraternal love, and simplicity. We should remember all our brothers who have gone before us in the service of the Gospel, commending them to the Lord with the prescribed prayers, especially in the celebration of the Eucharist.
We should show the same reverence and respect for our departed parents and for deceased collaborators of the Congregation.
