Sri Lanka. Fr. Rohan Dominic, Regional Superior of the Claretians in Sri Lanka, has been elected in the Annual General Meeting of the Conference of Major Religious Superiors (CMRS), held in Tewatte, Ragama, President of the CMRS of Sri Lanka, until 2011.

In Sri Lanka there are 51 Congregations of active life, 19 masculine and 32 feminine, and 4 contemplative orders. Fr. Rohan has been serving in the executive committee of CMRS during the last two years (2007 – 2009).

We hope that the Holy Spirit will guide him to contribute to the improvement of the persons in Sri Lanka, with his service to the Catholic Church.
