Vatican City. Gaudete et exsultate, “Rejoice and be glad” in Latin, is the third apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis, signed on March 19, 2018, feast of St. Joseph, and made public on April 9. The exhortation is subtitled “On the call to holiness in today’s world“.
The title has its origin in the sermon of the beatitudes of chapter 5 of the Gospel according to Saint Matthew. The following are the links to the text in different languages:
