Haiti. To Mons Miot in remembrance and gratitude

Jan 21, 2010 | Antillas, Claretian Family

Haiti. For the Christians of Puerto Príncipe, one of the especially sad moments of the consequences of this earthquake has been the death of their Archbishop Mons Joseph Serge Miot, good Shepherd who accompanied his sheep in their suffering and inspired them with hope, now has joined his suffering flock in their sacrifice, and became one more victim in union with the thousands of his innocent faithful. He has been a Shepherd and a lamb to present himself to the Lord accompanied by those whom he loved and served in his ministry.

We Claretians have a debt of faith and gratitude and we want to leave here our testimony reflected in these photos chosen from the ordination of the first Claretian deacon (today priest) Fr. Beauplan Derilus, cmf.
