Nairobi, Kenya. On August 2, 2021, the Independent Delegation of St. Charles Lwanga held its meeting of Local Superiors. The delegation is composed of sixteen communities spread across the three East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. There are five communities in Uganda, five communities in Kenya and six communities in Tanzania. The superiors of these communities met online, the first such meeting after the last assembly of the delegation.

All the communities were represented and in turn were led by Father Joy. It was a time of interaction and sharing good times together. The council members also had the opportunity to share about their respective missions and apostolates. They also deliberated on some perspectives for the delegation. Overall, it was an extraordinary meeting, we thank God for keeping us all safe during the Coronavirus pandemic.
