Roma. January 24 in the General Curia, a meeting was convened of the Revision Committee of the CMF Directory.
Chair of the meeting was Fr José Félix Valderrábano, Secretary General of the Congregation, along with the following priests: Emmanuel Edeh, General Consultor; Manuel Arroba, Superior of the community of the Juridical Dept in Rome, Manuel Carrasco, Secretary of the Province of Betica and Mathew Pottemparampil, of Bangalore, now a member of the Claretianum community in Rome.
The purpose of the meeting was to update the CMF Directory, whose current edition dates back to 1999. Since that time, it has been appropriate to update some of its contents and incorporate the provisions identified by the last two General Chapters of the Congregation.
The final outcome of this Committee’s work will be presented to the General Government for its scrutiny and approval during intensive sessions in the month of March. From there, a new edition of the same Directory will be prepared.
