Jogjakarta, Indonesia. Wisma Scholastic of Claretian Jogjakarta Community organized a Missiological Forum on May 26, 2019 with the theme: Missionary in the Context of Indonesia (A Missiological Reflection on the Message of Pope Francis in Order to Commemorate 100 years of Apostolic Letter Maximum Illud). Sch. Theobaldus Deni, CMF moderated the forum and its keynote speaker was Fr. Pankratius Rehi Kandelu, CMF.

Fr. Pank spoke on mission, the importance of centering it in Christ, on the Word of God. He further discussed on the context of the mission in Indonesia, its plurality, the political influence on it, the implications of economy, education, health and even of terrorism. And reiterated that knowing the context would help in doing mission right. Then he led them into understanding five aspects of mission: testimony and preaching; justice, peace, and integrity of creation; interfaith dialogue; inculturation; and reconciliation.
