Port au Prince, Haiti. On January 12, 2011 the world has reflected on the terrible earthquake in Port au Prince. The Haitian people were devastated and they sank into terrible darkness.
Today, 365 days later, our hearts still go out to them in theirsuffering, but we want to look ahead with HOPE.
PROMICLA (Claretian Mission Office of the Delegation of the Antilles), where our missionaries collaborate in a shared mission with a great team of lay people, invites us to view a Power Point presentation and to say a prayer to the God of Life on behalf of the Haitian people still suffering the consequences of the catastrophe, but who also appreciate the expressions of fraternity and generosity they have experienced.
