Priestly Ordination of Rev. Jonah Medarshang, CMF

Marimchi, India. Deacon Jonah Medarshang, CMF was ordained as a priest on Monday morning, 6 January 2020 by Most Rev. Dominic Lumon, the Archbishop of Imphal, at St. Anthony’s Church, Marimchi in Manipur State. Fr. Jonah is the first priest from Maring tribe, a sub-tribe of Naga Tribe. This sacred ceremony was attended by many Claretians, religious and the faithful of the local area. Fr. Jonah has become the Golden jubilee gift for the Claretians in India as they celebrate the 50th year of their presence in India.
