Fátima, Portugal. Fr. Arturo Teixeira, CMF, Major Superior of the Province of Portugal, has been elected Vice-President of the Conference of Religious Institutes of Portugal (CIRP) for the triennium 2011-2014. He was named to this position during their General Assembly in Fátima from May 17-18.
The President of the Conference is Sr. Lucília Gaspar (of the Servants of our Lady of Fatima). The steering committee will be made-up of three other “members with voice” and three members of the Economic Council.
