Rome, Italy. Our dear brother Fr. Gustavo Alonso, CMF has reached the edge of life and we remain hopeful that he has found the door of the house of the Merciful Father open.

For this reason, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, the community of the General Curia celebrated a Mass in grateful memory of his life and missionary vocation. Presiding at the Eucharist was Cardinal Aquilino Bocos Merino, CMF, whose homily we share below.

In addition, we share the condolences sent by the Bishop of Fukuoka, Japan, our brother, and former Superior General Fr. Josep Maria Abella, CMF.
