Bahía Blanca, Argentina. From February 17 to 20, 2022, a Claretian Missionary Volunteers’ Experience was held in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. The Prefect of Evangelization of the Province of San José del Sur, Fr. Fermín García, CMF, received the participants, and at the same time providing a space for formation aimed at introducing the volunteers to the history and present of the missionary service that the Claretians offer in Paraguay.

During this experience, they met with three volunteers from Bahia, who have been preparing themselves during the last year to carry out their missionary volunteer experiences. Martina Remis and Matías Lorenzo, who are already doing the short volunteer experience in Lambaré, Paraguay, together with Valentina Vidal, who will live the long volunteer experience in Ingeniero Jacobacci, Argentina, starting in mid-March.

The get-together was a propitious space for dialogue, conversation, sharing and living as a missionary community during those days. Former volunteers, who joyfully and closely shared their own experience in the shared mission and in their current professional and pastoral life, accompanied the participants at various moments of the gathering. Also, some of them facilitated some of the formation sessions that took place.
