Six young men begin their novitiate

Sep 14, 2009 | Brothers, Congregation

Spain. On September 8, Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, a new noviciate began in the city of Granada. It is made up of a group of six young men of the Provinces of Betica (3), Euskal Herria (1), Santiago (1) and of the East Asian Delegation (1). The Novice Master is Fr. José Mª Bolívar, helped by Fr. Ricardo Volo (Coadjutor). At the same time Gabriel Ponce made his first profession, after making his canonical Novitiate in Guatemala and his second year of Novitiate in Granada, while taking up his theological studies. The Provincial Superior of Betica presided over the celebration, accompanied by a large group of Claretian Missionaries (among whom there were members of the Provincial Governments of the Organisms of the novices), relatives, friends, religious men and women.

Let us pray that the Heart of Mary may accompany all of them in their formative period, so that they may come to be “Men on fire with love.”
