Bolivia. “On December 1st in San Pedro de Buena Vista – Claretian Mission of Northern Potosi, through the Provincial Superior of Euskal Herria, Fr. Joseba Kamiruaga, a new school was handed over for the formation of young generations.” Thus it is stated on a commemorative plaque of the bicentenary of Fr Claret’s birthday. The act took place within the Promotion Programme of Graduates 2007 of the Charcas National School of the town. The Claretian Mission has managed, coordinated and directed the creation of this new educative infrastructure that can receive almost five hundred students of secondary education of this zone of the Bolivian plateau, one of the poorest and most forgotten of the country. Although not yet completely finished, the school has been functioning during this school year 2007. The academic, political and administrative authorities have expressed their gratitude for the construction of this new school, which is the envy of all and sundry.
