Nairobi, Kenya. From June 12 to 16, 2025, the Prefecture of Formation of St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation hosted a quinquennium program at the Curia House in Karen for ten young priests from the Delegation and three from the Zimbabwe Mission of Fatima Province.
Fr. Joyze Pius Egunjobi facilitated the program on the theme: Self-awareness in the Formation of a Young Priest to Become a Credible Priest after the Heart of Jesus. The sessions focused on deepening self-knowledge and missionary commitment.
Three priests—Frs. Denis Mukam’atuhe, Andabat Hillary, and Bruno Michael (in absentia)—were honored for completing their five-year journey. Others were encouraged to persevere in their vocation.
Fr. Moses Amos, CMF, Prefect of Formation, shared insights from the 2024 ACLA meeting in Yaoundé, while Major Superior Fr. Joy Mampillikunnel, CMF, thanked the participants and emphasized the value of community life and prayer.
The Superior General’s message concluded the event, urging the young priests to walk together in fraternity, reminding them: “We are not meant to be solitary heroes but brothers walking together.”
