100 Years of Claretian Presence in Bata, Equatorial Guinea

Bata, Equatorial Guinea. The Claretian Missionaries celebrates its one hundred years of presence in Bata, Equatorial Guinea (1919 – 2019) this year. With an Inaugural Mass on March 3, 2019 at the St. James and Our Lady of the Pillar Cathedral, Bata, presided by its Local Ordinary, Msgr. Juan Matogo Oyana, CMF, the Padre Xifré Independent Delegation started its jubilee celebration.

In line with the jubilee, a series of events are on queue: March 28 – Vocation Day; March 29 – Round Table on the Claretian Mission in Bata; March 30 – Golden Ordination Anniversary of Fr. Pedro Nkogo Eyi Angué, CMF; May 4 – Youth Gathering; June 29, on the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary – Cordimarian celebration with the Cordimarian Associations within the area; July 7 – Closing of the Jubilee of the 100 years of Claretian presence in Bata.
