Sallent. Monday 21th June, there was the solemn celebration of the 175th anniversary of the first mass of Claret in the village of Sallent.
The mass was arranged in the same spot the alter of the church (destroyed in Civil war a hundred years after) where Claret celebrated the Eucharist.
Fr. Antoni Costa, parish priest, presided over the function and Fr. Paul Smyth the vicar general gave a message during the homily.
The mass started at 8 pm in the evening. Many people participated in the function. The participants of the formators course too took part in the event, giving a universal dimension to it.
