3RD EDITION – CLARETIAN YOUTH CAMP AKONO 2021

Akono, Cameroon. On July 14, 2021 began the third edition of the Claretian camp in Akono, with the arrival of approximately 220 young people from the Claretian parishes of the country.

After the welcome, the prayer of the Rosary began, and then continued with the programming of the camp, between meetings of the coordinators and recreational activities with all the young people. Jude Langeh, CMF, Fr. Thomas Aquinas, CMF and Bro. Martin Ndi Nkoumou, CMF.

Martin, CMF and Fr. Thomas, CMF discussed topics on vocation from the biblical perspective and their life experience in today’s society in the light of St. Anthony Mary Claret’s way of holiness. Jude Langeh, CMF concelebrated by the missionary priests Fr. Fr. Frédéric Kpoumie, CMF, Emeran Mbah, CM, Honoré Kenfack, CMF, Constantin Otili, CMF and Thomas Aquinas, CMF; the students Thomash, CMF and Melvin Neba, CMF. The liturgy was also animated by the youth of the Nkolbison youth delegation.

In his homily, the Major Superior invited the young people to be attentive to the different calls, since the very experience of the camp that they were concluding involves a mission.
