Rome, Italy. On Friday, December 18, 2020, unidentified burglars entered the General Administration Office of the General Curia of the Claretian Missionaries in Rome. While the community was having dinner, the burglars unlocked the main office’s security door and ransacked the safe using a metal saw. They took all the money, as well as some objects that had belonged to Cardinal Larraona. They also entered the adjacent office of the Local Econome and took all the money they found. The police immediately responded and began an investigation to clarify what had happened.
