The 31 missionaries of the Independent Delegation of Cameroun gathered together from 15 to 19 October at the Cistercian Monastery of Koutaba, on the western side of Cameroon for their Annual Retreat. The retreat was centered on Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation “Gaudete et Exultate” deepened by Fr. Germain Mbida, monk of the abovementioned monastery, by guiding them in reflecting on “The Beatitudes of Jesus (Mt5, 1-12) as source of our drive to holiness.” Another monk of the said monastery, Fr. Etienne Mboule, also gave them sessions to enter deeper into the above-mentioned Exhortation. Transformed, renewed, they all went back to their respective communities.
