Kandy, Sri Lanka. For three consecutive days, in honor of the Memoria of our Claretian Martyrs, the Claret Nivas community in Kandy, dedicated a Triduum with reflections on the joyful and courageous fidelity of the Martyrs to their vocation to the end. The celebration was culminated by a solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist on the 1st of February, presided by Fr. Rex Constantine, the Superior Delegate of Sri Lanka.

Integrated in the celebration is the acceptance to Postulancy of three aspirants, and the conferring of the Minor Order of Acolyte to three 2nd Year Scholastics and the Minor Order of Lector to seven 1st Year Scholastics who are preparing for the Orders.

Claret Nivas is a community of Missionaries in formation with 14 professed Theology Students and three non-professed Philosophy Students. Another four Scholastics of this community are in their Pastoral Year living outside the community and now having work experience in a garment factory.
