Madrid, Spain. On the occasion of the 50th World Day of Prayer for Vocations, the Delegation of Vocation Ministry of Madrid returned to convoke a “prayer chain for vocations”.
For more than 24 consecutive hours, various groups from the Church of Madrid passed through the Chapel of the Seminary to offer one hour in prayer from their prayer chain. As with other years, the Claretian Family was present on Saturday afternoon with members of the various branches of this chain of Madrid, offering prayer, silence, readings of the Word, texts from St. Anthony Mary Claret, and Mother Antonia París.
The day of prayer closed with a showing of two videos which included testimony of consecrated persons and priests. Afterwards there was a brief sharing of conversation and fraternity.
