Mar 12, 2011 | Claretian Family, Solidarity & Mission

Friday, March 11th, at 2:46pm (local time) an earthquake of 8.9 degrees Richter has occured in the northeast of Japan and has resulted in numerous wounded, some deaths, and a tsunami of disasterous consequences. In the places where the Claretians live: Osaka, Nagoya, and Hirakata they report no problems. Tokyo, on the otehr hand, seems to be very affected.
The Claretians are well. As the information continues to flow, we will communicate the news from our missionaries to the whole congregation.
