Easter in Murmansk

Apr 10, 2010 | Claretian Family, Congregation, Santiago

Russia. For the tenth time our Claretian brothers have celebrated Easter with the community of Murmansk. For seven years they celebrated it in different places, because the community did not have their own Church: they used the Municipal Library, or a hall leased by a school, or a music hall.

The last three years, the celebration was held in the Church that was inaugurated in November of 2007. But this year 2010 it had a special festive touch, because they counted on the participation of Fr. Manuel Tamargo, cmf, Major Superior of the Claretian province of Santiago.

The community is grateful for this opportunity and hopes that these seeds, with the power of the Spirit, will produce vocations for our beloved Congregation.
