Salvatierra, España. On September 24th, at the Claretian Community of Agurain-Salvatierra, the traditional Encunter of the Province of Euskal Hierra was held at the beginning of the academic and pastoral year 2011-2012. On this occasion Fr. José Ramón Sanz, CMF from the Province of Santiago, who led the moments of reflection, was invited as a special guest.
The Encounter began at 10:00am with prayer. Following this, Fr. José Ramón gave a reflection on “Rethinking the experience of Quid Prodest”, and later after a siesta, anotehr presentation on the image of the Good Shepherd.
The daily celebrations were lived in a celebrative ambience which ended with the Eucharist. The Mass was presided over by Fr. Carlos Pagola who, on the 2nd of July, celebrated 50 years of priestly ordination. Accompanying him at the altar was Fr. Josu Jiménez who will celebrate his 25th anniversary of ordination on October 19th.
This celebration was especially significant for those who had completed or will complete the anniversary of their Religious Profession. All of those honored received a Papal blessing from His Holiness Benedict XVI. (Photo)
