Toulouse, France. From the 7th to the 10th of March, 2011 in the Curia of the Delegation of France in this city, the first Encounter of the Vocation Ministry Team of this Delegation took place.
Participating were Fathers Raimondo Adormeo (Prefect of the Apostolate, who convened the Encounter), Pierre Zanga (Perpignan), Percival Redoña (Marsella) and Eugene Cocou Gnansounou (Toulouse). Also attending, as coordinator ofthe Encounter, was Fr. Juan Carlos Martos, Secretray General of Vocation Ministry.
The objectives of the Encounter were centered in coordinatiing the new Vocation Ministry team of the Delegation, studying the theoretical framework which our Claretian Vocation Ministry offers, and from the reality of the Delegation, to determine various priorities and actions of the Vocation Ministry. Among them was to highlight the decision to implement, as soon as possible, local teams of Vocation Ministry in each Claretian community.
We were very warmly taken care of by Fr. Isaías Velasco, who served as host. Fr. Gildard valencia, Major Superior of the Delegation joined us for these days and encouraged us in this service. At the same time we took this occasion to celebrate the Eucharist of Ash Wednesday with the parish community of Sacrè Coeur, serevd by our missionaries in this community of Narbonne.
