Los Negrales, Madrid. The 10th English edition of the Forge Renewal Encounter began on September 20, 2026, at the Forge Center in Los Negrales, bringing together 14 Claretian Missionaries from different countries and missionary contexts for a journey of spiritual renewal, fraternity, and missionary formation.
The program opened with an orientation and a brief getting-to-know-you session facilitated by Fr. Antony Bhyju Vincent, CMF. The gathering enabled the participants to become acquainted with one another, receive initial information about the program, and begin building the spirit of fraternity that will accompany them throughout the Forge experience.
On September 21, the community celebrated the Inaugural Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Anthony Igbokwe, CMF, Prefect of Spirituality and Formation of the Province of Santiago. In his homily, he invited the participants
to keep their gaze fixed on Jesus as they embark on this journey of personal and communal transformation.
The Eucharistic celebration brought together the 14 participants and the Forge Team facilitators: Fr. Antony Bhyju Vincent, CMF; Fr. Joe Terry de Bosco Johnbosco, CMF; Fr. Rohan Peries, CMF; and Fr. Felix Kouame Ketoglo, CMF.
During the celebration, the participants entrusted their hopes and intentions to the Lord and invoked the guidance of the Holy Spirit for the journey ahead. Fraternity, openness, prayer, and shared missionary life were highlighted as essential dimensions of the renewal experience.
Inspired by the missionary spirit of St. Anthony Mary Claret, the 14 missionaries have begun their Forge journey with gratitude and hope. Through this experience, they seek to deepen their vocation, strengthen their missionary identity, and renew their commitment to being “Missionaries to the End.”
