Madrid. On 12 February, at the premises of the Claretian community
Buen Suceso in Madrid, they held the IX Forum on Mariology, organised each year by the periodical “Ephemerides Mariologicae ” .

From its first steps at the beginning of the century, the Forum has
been transformed into an attractive and inspiring event for those who want
to ponder their faith and gain a deeper theological understanding of the mystery of Mary, Mother of the Lord, and to explain it using expressions and concepts appropriate to the times in which we live

On this occasion, the keynote speech was the responsibility of Prof. Angel Aparicio CMF, professor at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, entitled “God’s gaze falls on Mary: ‘He looked at the lowliness of his handmaiden “(Lk 1, 48a).” At the prompting of Prof. Aparicio, there followed a short break and an open period of dialogue.

Ephemerides Mariologicae magazine, now in its sixtieth year, trying to keep pace with the times, tries to ensure that their forums “create an open and flexible space to share and exchange knowledge, assumptions, information and new proposals concerning the figure of Mary in God’s plan and the communion of saints. “
