First Professions in the Americas on the First Day of the Year

Mixco, Guatemala. On the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God, January 1, 2020, seven young men from three Major Organisms in the Americas together pronounced their First Profession in the Congregation of Missionaries, Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the hands of Fr. Ismael Montero Toyos, CMF, Provincial Superior of Centroamérica, at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Chapel in Mixco. They are Schs. Eduardo Antonio Carranza Aguilera, Byron Uriel Calero Hernández, Pablo José Moreno Ramírez and Jorge Luis Morales Morales, CMFF of the Province of Centroamérica; Sch. Billy Aristobal Freire Ayala, CMF of the Province of Colombia Oriental – Ecuador; Schs. Jean Abnado Joseph and Jean-Louis Clifford, CMFF of the Independent Delegation of Antillas.

The celebration was lived in an atmosphere of great joy, fraternity, interculturality, gratitude, mixed feelings and with much joy with the brothers of the Congregation who share the vocational gift with them. Also present were members of the Claretian family, friends from the Claret Parish, the Missionaries of Charity, some elders from the Calcutta nursing home, their respective families and friends, people from Nicaragua and Honduras. The rites were followed by a special dinner with musical rendition.
