Fr. Armin Sixt accident

Sri Lanka. Fr. Armin Sixt, Provincial of the German Province, who was brought to the Colombo General Hospital after the accident is still in the same condition. He is still unconscious and attached to a ventilator. An operation was performed on the night of the 19th and he was kept under observation for the next 48 hours.

According to the doctors his body conditions are alright. But the the condition of his brain is yet to be ascertained. It seems there are many blood clots and they are trying to remove them.

Fr. Rohan Dominic, mission superior for Sri Lanka, has been making sure that arrangements for the care of Fr. Armin is in place. Fr. James Patteril, the Provincial Econome, has arrived a few hours back.

Others who were with him are discharged from the hospital. Fr. Anselmus, Fr. M.K.S. Francis and Fr. Milfer are the other injured Claretians.
