Narbonne, France. On Sunday April 14th vibrant applause was heard in the Church of Notre Dame des Champs. The Gospel Choir, created by Claretian Fr. Francis was exhibited with great success and the participation of the people.
Thirty singers (youth and adults) with good training in Afro-American music sang various songs with a clear and powerful voice, depth and harmony. Their gestures and movements emphasized the rhythm of the songs, projecting great harmony and communication with the audience.
The Claretian church has been the ideal site for the birth of a spontaneous fraternity among the singers of the “Gospel Choir” and a public that, excited and afoot, closed this concert with great energy: an effective way to spread the Gospel.
