Krzydlina, Poland. The II Encounter of those in charge of Vocations Ministry in the Major Organisms in the CEC took place here on the 18th-20th February.
Present were Frs. Valentine Anthony Raj and Ricardo de Alburquerque (Germany), Raymundo Adormeo (France), Gustavo Pez (Italy), Lukasz Przybylo, Marcin Kowalewski and Piort Beza, and Diac. Robert Pyrka (Poland) and Ángel Ochagavía (UK and Ireland). Fr Jorge R. Sánchez, current Coordinator of those in charge of Vocations Ministry in Iberia, was invited. We also had the pleasure of the presence and collaboration of Fr Juan Carlos Martos, General Secretary of Vocations Ministry.
The goals for this meeting were to seek to advance the process of collaboration in the Youth Vocation Ministry between CEC Organisms and those in Iberia. Also on the table was the proposal of creating Schools of Animators in the Vocations Ministry and in World Youth Day in the Claretian Family, to be held in Madrid in August 2011, about which everybody was updated with regards to progress. The conclusions arrived at in the recent Encounter of the Apostolate of Europe, held in Buckden (England) during this month of February were also taken in account.
Eventually all the objectives were achieved. The most important decision was the one for May 2012, and all those in charge, along with the teams of Youth Vocations Ministry, should begin a process of joint annual meetings of formation, communication of experiences and collaboration in activities.
