Vavuniya, Sri Lanka. Recently there was a visit to VAROD (Vanni Rehabilitation Organization for the Differently-abled) by the Disability Sports and Recreation group from Australia during which there was good interaction between the visiting team (13 members) and the VAROD beneficiaries. The day’s programs included a basketball match, distribution of 20 wheelchairs to VAROD beneficiaries, awarding of livelihood assistance to some beneficiaries, and the enjoyment of delicious Sri Lankan dishes.
