Bangalore, India. Mother Teresa Foundation Award for “Selfless Contributors to Bangalore” was conferred on 24th of January by Former Chief Justice of India, Shri Venkatachalaiah on Fr George Kannanthanam for his work among the people affected by leprosy, HIV and disabilities.
Fr George has been working as the Director of the Sumanahalli Society, a project of the Archdiocese of Bangalore managed by the Bangalore Province of Claretians since 2001.
