On 17 November 2025, Bishop Stephen Lepcha elevated the mission to the status of a Quasi Parish, recognizing the steady growth of the community and the Claretian missionary presence.
The inauguration was presided over by Bishop Stephen Lepcha, with the participation of Rev. Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, CMF, Superior General of the Claretian Missionaries, Fr. Gerald Lepcha, and other priests. The celebration concluded with the Eucharist, entrusting the mission’s future to God’s providence.
