Northeast India. On the last day of the Assembly of the Delegation of Northeast India several proposals were presented, result of the discussions in the groups and in the plenary sessions.
These and other relevant questions, brought up by different members, have been gathered in a final text that will serve as a guide for the missionary life of the Delegation for the next period. Towards the end of the second session, Fr. Paul Smyth emphasized the cordial atmosphere that exists in the Delegation and praised the Assembly for its enthusiastic participation.
Then Fr. José Anchupankil, newly reappointed Delegate Superior, thanked all the participants, and especially Fr. Paul Smyth, for presiding over this Assembly in representation of the General Government.
With these speeches the Assembly was considered ended and the Delegation was left with the task of “spreading the flame” of God’s love to others also
