Colombo, Sri Lanka. Bro. Carlos Verga, CMF arrived in Sri Lanka on July 4, 2022, ahead of the scheduled Delegation Assembly, to visit some missions of the Delegation, particularly those that have to do with the Youth Ministry and Vocations.
He first visited Pampaimadhu Parish and VAROD on July 6 and 7 and spent quality time with the youth, children, and VAROD inmates. Then he moved to Mallavi Parish and visited the Mallavi Girls & Boys hostel of the Religious of Mary Immaculate Claretian Missionary Sisters (RMI) from July 8 to 9 and interacted with the youth and children there. On July 11, he met with the Claret Way Team of the Claretian Family in Sri Lanka at St. Claret Seminary in Kattuwa. Some youth also joined and spent time with them.
In all the three places he went, the Claretians organized youth gatherings, meetings, cultural programs, and prayer services under the guidance of Fr. Renald Ruban, CMF, Prefect of Youth, and Vocations of St. Joseph Vaz.
