Perpetual Professions in Antillas Independent Delegation

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. On May 9, 2020, Students Yves-Marie Cajuste and Kelvin Adames Díaz, CMFF made their Perpetual Vows in the hands of Fr. José Camilo Minaya Silverio, CMF, Provincial Prefect of Formation and delegate of the Major Superior of Antillas. The celebration of the religious profession took place in the Formation House of St. Anthony Mary Claret, in Pantoja, Santo Domingo. The whole formative community, the Claretian missionaries of the nearby communities and a large group of people who followed the transmission of the ceremony through the social networks participated in the Eucharist.

In his homily, Fr. José Camilo, thanked God for the gift of life and vocation of the professed and also highlighted the missionary identity of our Congregation, the charismatic features of the mission, and exhorted them in a particular way to welcome the conclusions of the VII Assembly of the Delegation and the Apostolic Missionary Project as orientation and source of spirituality for the mission.

Student Kelvin Adames Díaz, CMF, pronounced some words full of gratitude on behalf of both professed students, thanking relatives, friends and all those Claretian Missionaries and communities that have intervened very closely in their formative itinerary. In the same way, a congratulatory message of the Major Superior, Fr. Fausto Cruz Rosa, CMF, was read, in which he exhorted them to be brave Claretian Missionaries and to continue forming themselves to respond better to the missionary challenges. At the end, Fr. José Camilo informed those present of the missionary communities to which the two Students were going to be assigned. Yves-Marie Cajuste to the community of Fusimaña, in the Dominican Republic, and Kelvin Adames Díaz to the community of Guantánamo, in Cuba.
