Coronel Oviedo, Paraguay. On 17 February 2019, Paraguayan Deacon Jorge Ortigoza Garcete, CMF of the Province of San José del Sur was ordained by Msgr. Juan Bautista Gavilán Velásquez, Bishop of Coronel Oviedo, at the premises of the Church of Virgen del Rosario Parish. Present were two other Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Encarnació, Msgrs. Claudio Silvero Acosta and Ignacio Gogorza Izaguirre, S.C.I. di Béth. The Claretians of San José del Sur were present, headed by the Provincial Superior, Fr. Mario David Gutiérrez Medina, CMF and his council members, friends, relatives of the ordained and the faithful of the parish.
