Abuja, Nigeria: The Second ACLA Bible Assembly kicked off on November 2, 2025, at the Institute of Consecrated Life in Africa (InCLA), in Abuja, Nigeria. The weeklong gathering, which runs until November 8, has drawn participants from various ACLA organisms across Africa. This year’s theme, “ACLA Biblical Ministry in the Service of Justice, Peace and Hope,” focuses on how the Word of God can inspire hope and foster peace and justice across the continent.
Building on the first ACLA Bible Assembly, which explored the prospects of Bible ministry. the current session dives into its practical applications in pastoral life. Participants will reflect on good practices in children’s Bible ministry, evangelization through media, Bible-based conflict resolution in families, and the use of artificial intelligence in digital missions, all through the lenses of justice, peace, and hope.
Organized under the General Prefecture of Bible and Communication, the assembly provides a space for sharing ideas and experiences.
