Barcelona (Spain). On Monday evening, the 19th of March, during a live program on television channel ‘Barcelona TV’, Fr. Anton M. Vilarrubias, CMF was invited to speak about the Orthodox Coptic Church in Egypt on the occasion of the death of Pope Shenuda III.
During the broadcast the most characteristic aspects of this Christian community were presented, as well as the historical evolution and current difficulties which it is having with regard to political changes and recent elections in the Egyptian parliament. He also spoke on the internal life of this Church and various predictions regarding the succession of Pope Shenuda III.
