Panama, Panama. The 3rd Assembly of the Claretian Missionaries of America (MICLA) is currently being held in Panama City with the presence of our General Superior, Fr. Mathew Vattamattam and the representatives of the nine member Organisms of the said Conference. It started on the 8th of April till the 13th. The sessions were started with the greetings of Fr. Ismael Montero, Provincial Superior of Centroamérica and Father General’s message to the body. He invited them to reflect and discern on some of the priorities of MICLA, re: vocation promotion and formation, a congregation going-forth, and the centrality of the Bible Ministry.
Today, the 11th, the new Government of the Conference is elected and is as follows (from left to right on the photo): Fr. Jose Vidal Perez Villanueva (Centroamérica) – Secretary, Fr. Enrique Mascorro López (México) – Member, Fr. Marcos Aurélio Loro (Brazil) – Vice President, Ismael Montero Toyos (Centroamérica) – President.
