Rome, Italy. The General Government of the Claretian Missionaries announces changes in personnel at the General Curia, marking a transition in key roles that serve the mission of the Congregation. These changes will take effect from May 1, 2025.
After nine years of dedicated service in the Mission Procure—first as Assistant and later as Mission Procurator—Fr. Lord Winner, CMF will be returning to his Province. His commitment and generous contributions have significantly enhanced the effectiveness of the Mission Procure’s work in supporting missionary initiatives worldwide. The General Government expressed deep gratitude to Fr. Winner for his invaluable service.
Taking up the role of General Mission Procurator is Fr. Gabriel Ponce, CMF from the Province of Fátima, who has been serving as Assistant to the General Mission Procure. His experience and dedication will ensure the continuity and further development of the Congregation’s missionary projects.
Another key appointment is Fr. Bhyju Anthony, CMF from Kolkata, who will join the CESC team (Centro de Espiritualidad Claretiana) with a special responsibility for La Fragua in English. His regular residence will be at the General Curia, where he will contribute to formation and engage in research in formation studies.
These transitions highlight the commitment of the Claretian Missionaries to effective governance and ongoing formation in the service of the Church and the Congregation’s mission. The General Government invites all members to accompany these brothers in prayer as they take on their new responsibilities.
