Mexico City, Mexico. From April 7 to 11, Claretians participated in the Continental Assembly of the Catholic Biblical Federation of Latin America and the Caribbean (FEBIC LAC), held in Mexico City with 60 attendees from across the region.
Marking the 60th anniversary of Dei Verbum, the Assembly focused on three themes: Memory, Prophecy, and Hope. It opened with a Eucharist at the Basilica of Guadalupe, followed by sessions at Casa Lago, headquarters of the Mexican Episcopal Conference.
The Claretian delegation included Giselle Zamora (REBICLAR), Fr. Vicente Cancino, CMF (México), Fr. Manuel Villalobos, CMF (USA-Canada), and Jaime Michea (San José del Sur). They contributed to reflections, pastoral sharing, and planning for biblical ministry in the region.
The Assembly concluded with the election of Sr. María del Socorro Becerra, HMSP, as new regional coordinator. Claretians reaffirmed their commitment to biblical animation and continental collaboration.
