Don Pedro Casaldáliga, CMF Able to Return Home

Jan 3, 2013 | Brasil

São Félix do Araguaia, Brazil. Since Saturday the 29th, Don Pedro Casaldáliga is back at his home in São Félix do Araguaia. The return was peaceful and Don Pedro is fine, in spite of the difficult moments he had to dodge due to a series of death threats, which we informed you about previously.

Directed to family and friends he writes:

“(…) may the light and the strength of the Mystery of Christmas continue stimulating us always.
The “desintrusão”(idleness) continues on an accelerated course. Effectively, there’s only left a resistance group on the point of the Posto da Mata, which today was taken by the security forces.
Between the tension and the hope we strengthen our communion.
We are back home again. From here I extend a big embrace in the Peace of Emmanuel”
