Jan 2, 2022 | Centroamérica, Colombia Oriental - Ecuador, Congregation, Formation, MICLA, Professions

Guatemala de la Asunción, Guatemala.

At the celebration of the Eucharist of the first day of the year 2022, in the chapel of the village “El Campanero”, was an aura of joy and happiness for two Major Organisms, the Province of Eastern Colombia-Ecuador and the Province of Central America, as they celebrated the first profession of five Claretian missionaries. The vows were received by the Provincial of Central America, Fr. Ismael Montero Toyos, cmf and the celebration was accompanied by the Missionaries of the Community of Guatemala.

Each novice pronounced the formula of profession, expressing his readiness to follow Jesus, as a Claretian missionary until the end. The Congregation rejoices with them and pray that the Lord may strengthen them in the mission, that their hearts may be centred on Jesus and that our Mother Mary, Mother of God, may teach them to be docile to the Spirit. After the Eucharistic celebration there was a sharing with the members of the community.

The Claretian Missionaries who professed their first vows are:

Province of Eastern Colombia-Ecuador

– Jhonatan Alvarado Rodríguez
– Darío Quintero Angulo

Province of Central America

– Donaciano Alarcón Valdés
– Guillermo Sánchez Lorenzo
– Elías García Benítez
