Madrid, Spain. It has been 25 years since the first residential Forge was held in the fall of 1993 in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid). All in all more than 280 Claretians already have participated in the program. Some things have changed over the years, but the essential remains. The statistics reminds us to thank God for blessing us these twenty five years of faithfulness.
On September 30, 2018, the 23rd Forge in Spanish language started at the Forge Center for Claretian Renewal of Los Negrales (Madrid). The center opened its doors to 11 Claretians of different ages, ministries, backgrounds of 10 Organisms (Antillas, Italia, Santiago, Portugal, Peru-Bolivia, Colombia-Ecuador, Colombia-Venezuela, Centroamérica, San José del Sur,Bética). They are joining their Program Coordinators, Frs. Salvador León and Juan Carlos Martos, CMFF.
For two and a half months they will try to deepen the roots of their Claretian vocation, allowing themselves to be impelled by the Lord’s strength that invites them to be worshipers of God the Father, followers of Jesus Christ in community, and missionaries sent by the Spirit, under the maternal care of our Mother.
“As we start the Forge, we want to thank the effort made by each Organism to facilitate the experience for the participants and for trust that they give to us in serving them as their animators for this ongoing formation. We ask you to have us present in your prayers“ said Fr. Juan Carlos Martos, CMF.
