Córdoba, Argentina. From October 28 to 31, 2024, a workshop was held in Córdoba, Argentina, for the novices of MICLA (Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary – Latin America). The event, aimed at deepening the participants’ understanding of intercultural dynamics, was skillfully facilitated by Joseph Kalakkal CMF.
Throughout the four days of the workshop, a variety of themes central to the Claretian mission were explored. The sessions provided the novices with tools and frameworks to address the challenges of intercultural engagement, an essential aspect of their missionary calling. Discussions included the development of intercultural competencies, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect, active listening, and empathy in cross-cultural contexts.
