National Secretariat for JPIC Cameroun

Yaoundé, Cameroon. The National Secretariat for JPIC Cameroon kicked-off on Thursday, 7 February 2019, an effort to constitute a working group for JPIC of the Independent Delegation of Cameroun. The Secretariat is made up of the National Coordinator, Rev. Placid Muntong Gweh, CMF with eight other Claretians priests, brothers, students and lay volunteers. They had their first training workshop that same day in Yaoundé.

This team that met for the first time was kept company throughout the day by the following formative talks: Claret and JPIC by Fr. Aristide Frédéric Medou Essomba, CMF; JPIC: Challenges to Claretian Mission in Cameroun by Fr. Jude Thaddeus Langeh, CMF; Voluntarism in the Realization of JPIC Objectives by Mr. George; and Echo from Nairobi SOMI Session 3-7 September 2018 by Rev. Placid himself. Then their first national meeting followed, during which they had time to setup its Action Plan 2019.
