Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.On August 25, the Claretian Deacon, Jean Edouard Israel, was ordained a priest. He is of Haitian nationality, and is working in Songo la Maya Cuba. He was ordained by the Archbishop of Santiago de Cuba, Monsignor Dionisio García Ibañez, in the parish of Purísima Concepción de Ti Arriba, Songo La Maya, Santiago de Cuba. It is the first ordination that takes place in the said parish after more than 100 years of its foundation.
